ServiceNow Analyst - REMOTE

OVERVIEW We are seeking a ServiceNow Analyst to support an enterprise ServiceNow platform as it expands its CMDB and asset management footprint. This analyst will work alongside technical leads and internal stakeholders to ensure clean data migration, effective CI relationships, and readiness for future Hardware Asset Management (HAM) adoption. This is a collaborative, data-driven role focused on quality, visibility, and operational maturity. • Location: Remote or Hybrid, Pacific Time overlap (If hybrid, Seattle, WA Location) • Duration: 12 months (high liklihood of extension) • Rate: $45/hr to $58/hr DOE RESPONSIBILITIES • Support CMDB cleansing, CI normalization, and record enrichment • Assist in maturing Software Asset Management operations • Prepare for future HAM initiatives through foundational data governance • Generate reports, dashboards, and compliance snapshots for internal stakeholders • Collaborate with internal CMDB resource and the Sr. ServiceNow Developer to align efforts • Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and platform usability • Validate discovery results and reconcile data discrepancies • Maintain CI relationships ensuring accurate dependency mapping • Track and manage software asset records including licenses and entitlements • Monitor software compliance and identify optimization opportunities • Create and enforce data standards including naming conventions and classification rules • Build dashboards showing CMDB health metrics and asset lifecycle distribution • Support audit readiness with compliance reporting • Engage with stakeholders across IT Operations, Security, Procurement, and Finance QUALIFICATIONS Required: • 2+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, specifically CMDB or SAM • Understanding of CI relationships, lifecycle states, and discovery integration • Familiarity with asset governance frameworks and best practices • Strong Excel, reporting, and documentation skills • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset • Experience with CI record management, enrichment, and data validation • Knowledge of Software Asset Management including license compliance and entitlement tracking • Ability to build ServiceNow reports and dashboards • Data analysis skills with ability to identify patterns and anomalies • Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience with ServiceNow UI navigation including lists, forms, and configuration Preferred: • ITIL Foundation certification • ServiceNow certifications (CSA or Micro-certifications in CMDB or Asset Management) • Understanding of CMDB data model and CI classes • SQL knowledge for advanced reporting • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and reconciliation processes • Knowledge of Hardware Asset Management concepts • ServiceNow Service Mapping experience • Experience with data migration or system consolidation projects • Familiarity with additional data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
